SLF Launches UK-Wide Refugee Services Assessment: Share Your Insights

At the Sabir Lewis Foundation (SLF), we believe that lasting change begins with listening to those closest to the challenges. That’s why we’re reaching out to individuals and organisations like yours.

We are currently undertaking a UK-wide Refugee Services Mapping & Needs Assessment to better understand the landscape of support services—especially those affecting women and children, who often face some of the most serious barriers to safety, care, and opportunity.

This initiative is not just about data—it’s about meaningful action. It’s about working together to build a future where no refugee is overlooked, and every voice is acknowledged.

Our goal is to identify service gaps, overlaps, and unmet needs in refugee provision. We want to ensure that future efforts in research, advocacy, and service delivery are grounded in real insights from across the sector.

We are particularly interested in understanding:

What services currently exist for refugees in your area?

Which groups are being supported—and which are being missed?

What challenges are faced in delivering effective support?

Where there may be opportunities for collaboration and innovation?
